English short title catalogue
Contains records for works printed in any language in England or its dependencies from the beginning of printing through the end of the eighteenth century, as well as works printed in English anywhere else in the world during that period. Includes the former Eighteenth-Century Short-Title Catalogue (ESTC) and the two print short-title catalogues covering 1475-1640 (Pollard & Redgrave) and 1641-1700 (Wing). A resource for literature regarding gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender issues. Contains indexing and abstracts for more than 120 GLBT-specific core periodicals. Also contains data mined from over 40 priority periodicals as well as data mined from over 1400 select titles. Includes over 50,000 records relevant to all areas of GLBT studies selected from Sexual Diversity Studies database. Limited to UC only.
Harper's Magazine Index (1850-1892)
Harper's Magazine is available via 19th Century Masterfile which is a vast "Index of Indexes", and is the largest resource for historical research prior to 1925. 19th Century Masterfile brings together over 60 subject indexes to: Periodicals Newspapers Books US Congressional Record US and UK Government Documents US Patents You can query all of the 6 million citations in 19th Century Masterfile in a single search.

International bibliography of book reviews : IBR.
Book reviews are an important element in the academic discussions. They are a tool for quality measurement with respect to amount of publications published annually and give an indication about the importance of a published work. IBR contains over 990.753 entries about book reviews from the years 1985ff. The database is international and interdisciplinary, the reviews have been published in approx. 6.219 academic journals mainly in the Humanities and Social Sciences. IBR is updated on a monthly basis, the annual addition to the database is approx. 50.000 entries. All articles contain German and English subject classifications. This makes it easy to find book reviews written in different languages from all over the world.

On-line database of literature, arts & medicine : an annotated bibliography
This site, established in 1994 at New York University School of Medicine, is dedicated to providing a resource for scholars, educators, students, patients, and others who are interested in the work of medical humanities. We define the term "medical humanities" broadly to include an interdisciplinary field of humanities (literature, philosophy, ethics, history and religion), social science (anthropology, cultural studies, psychology, sociology), and the arts (literature, theater, film, and visual arts) and their application to medical education and practice.
