American Association for the History of Medicine
The AAHM is North America's oldest continuously functioning scholarly organization devoted to the study of all aspects of the history of the health professions, disease, public health, and related subjects. It is comprised of professional historians, practicing health professionals, librarians and archivists in the history of the health sciences, graduate students and students actively seeking professional degrees. Its annual meetings occur each spring and include, over a two and a half day period, a wealth of workshops, plenary sessions, and competitively peer-reviewed scholarly papers.

Archivists and Librarians in the History of the Health Sciences
This Association is established exclusively for educational purposes to serve the professional interests of librarians, archivists, and other specialists actively engaged in the librarianship of the history of the health sciences by promoting the exchange of information and by improving standards of service.

International Society for the History of the Neurosciences (ISHN)
The ISHN provides communication between individuals and groups interested in the history of neuroscience; promotes research in the history of neuroscience; and promotes education in and stimulate interest for the history of neuroscience.

Medical Museums Association
The Medical Museums Association was created to promote longterm contacts among individuals, institutions, and organizations involved in collecting historical artifacts and objects of interest to the health sciences.
